The Jersey FA provide ‘Walking Football’ sessions at Springfield Stadium.
Walking Football is a great way for players of all ages and abilities to get involved in the game and get active. It is a skilful and technical form of the game that has had great success up and down the country improving people’s footballing ability, health and mental wellbeing. Games are played at a slower pace to regular football, often on 3G artificial grass pitches, reducing the threat of pain, discomfort and injury.
What age do you have to be to Play Walking Football?
You can be any age and ability – from fist time players to experienced veterans.
What to wear
You don’t need any specific shoes or Shin pads as Walking Football is a non-contact sport trainers or astro boots are recommend.
