Getting active can be difficult - let us help you make that first step! Our Move More Classes are friendly and sociable, held in local community venues across the island, outside in parks and in your home via Zoom calls.

We have a range of classes for you to try which you can do in your own home via a Zoom call, in some of our local parks, or at community venues across the island. Take a look at the range of Move More Classes below!

No gym membership is required – simply register with us and we’ll call you to discuss your requirements and get you booked into our classes.

Our professional Move More Instructors will give you a warm welcome and help you to take that step to improving your health and well-being!

MOVE MORE CLASSES TIMETABLE

Our classes are aimed at people who might need some encouragement to be physically active.  The classes are friendly, fun and sociable with small, supportive groups where exercises can be adapted to suit various fitness levels, so you can work at your own pace.

Before you attend your first class, you will need to register by downloading, completing and returning the application form below to us at: [email protected]. One of our Move More team will then be in touch to discuss the best class for you.

MOVE MORE CLASSES – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please note: Jersey Sport is monitoring the Coronavirus situation closely and we advise all sports clubs, associations and physical activity groups to follow the advice from the Government of Jersey regarding Coronavirus. Activities Available

1. Move More Core and Stretch

A class that focuses on stretching your body and strengthening your core.

Friday mornings and Friday afternoons

Adults: £5 per class, Seniors (over 65 years): £4 per class, Income Support: Free (evidence of a valid claim required - this needs to be submitted every 6 months)

Millennium Park (Bath Street) and via Zoom calls

3. Move More Exercise Class

An all-round, functional programme with a mixture of activities, cardio and strength work.

Monday, Tuesday, Friday mornings, plus Monday and Wednesday afternoons

Adults: £5 per class, Seniors (over 65 years): £4 per class, Income Support: Free (evidence of a valid claim required - this needs to submitted every 6 months)

Zoom call, Springfield (Blue Room), Trinity Youth Centre, Communicare, Salvation Army

4. Move More Gym Circuits

A mix of exercises using studio-based equipment and specialist gym equipment.

Tuesday and Thursday mornings

Adults: £5 per class, Seniors (over 65 years): £4 per class, Income Support: Free (evidence of a valid claim required - this needs to be submitted every 6 months)

Les Quennevais Gym

5. Move More Gym Class

An all-round gym-based fitness programme using specialist gym equipment under the supervision of Move More Instructors.

Monday, Thursday and Friday mornings

Adults: £5 per class, Seniors (over 65 years) £4 per class, Income Support: Free (evidence of a valid claim required - this needs to be submitted every 6 months)

8. Move More Mobility

This class involves both seated and standing body weight exercises, focusing on balance and strength.

Wednesday morning and Thursday afternoon

Adults: £5 per class, Seniors (over 65 years): £4 per class, Income Support: Free (evidence of a valid claim required - this needs to be submitted every 6 months)
